Eagle Church is committed to becoming a missional church - we are in the midst of a paradigm shift to define ourselves more as a "go and be" incarnational model of ministry, rather than just a "come & see" attractional model of ministry.
We desire to live out the gospel of God's grace by being a
dispersing community of Christ-followers,
not just a gathering community of Christ-followers.
Live the Creed
It begins on the personal level. Choose to live out
the call of Jesus to love God & love people.
Develop friendships and discover their stories - then, discern next steps.
Mark 12:29-31 - THE JESUS CREED
'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'
The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
There is no commandment greater than these.
Befriend the Team
"Neighborhood Life" is a team sport - we must build relationships with others in our geographical area. Jesus gathered a team, sent out his disciples in teams,
and called the church to be his community of faith on earth (his body.)
Periodic Neighborhood Gatherings, monthly "Tables" (shared meals)
and regular Small Groups can each help build a team to serve others.
Do not limit your team to Eagle attenders.

Serve the Neighbors
Let's love our neighbors and our neighborhoods! Great neighborhoods create a place to BELONG, GROW & SERVE. Take the step! Let's serve together in the name of Jesus Christ. Ask his Spirit to help you see needs and reach out to the neighbors.
